KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning hip hop star Joe Flizzow plans to stage a virtual concert with an access fee of only RM1 to show appreciation to fans for their continuous support.
The 41-year-old rapper whose real name is Johan Ishak, said that the idea popped up after considering that online performance would be the most practical approach during this current situation.
"When the Movement Control Order (MCO) was enforced in March, many had put up online performances and they worked well, receiving encouraging response from their fans.
"Fans only need to pay RM1 for my virtual concert. I think it's a minimal amount people have no qualms parting, especially when it can be accessible from anywhere via online platforms such as Zoom. With that minimal amount many will be able to stream it too," he said in a news report today.
"I hope to realise it in the near future and I promise that it will be a quality concert worth watching. This is especially dedicated to fans whom had been asking me to stage a concert," said Joe who is currently busy promoting his new single Kuasa.
